One year at Purdue

Crikey ! Its already been a year at Purdue! How time flies ! It has been a good time so far, hanging out with friends , study groups, tours and trips to surrounding areas, helping first year students find their way around , etc ,etc. I am happy to wave goodbye to First Year Engineering and get into core Electrical Engineering. This could be true for all other engineers at Purdue. It was a good chance to explore different fields of engineering and to foster lasting friendships.  This will be a test of time, brains and patience for me and other electrical engineers. But it should be great fun. There are so many activities to get involved in such as EPICS ( Engineering Projects in Community Service), Purdue FIRST Robotics, IEEE, Honour Societies , etc ,etc. So Boiler Up and enjoy your time at Purdue.

First day at PURDUE

PURDUE ......Before one year I never thought that I would be in this place. It was like one of my dream come true. I had a mixed feeling on the first day. This is the first time that I am away from my parents and so I was very sad but also nervous.
I came to PURDUE on 14 th of August, night 10:00 pm. The first look of PURDUE was in the dark, tall buildings, deserted roads and few people playing tennis under the lights. The feeling of me being away from my parents was dominating. I had to stay at Purdue village for that night, so at that time I was searching Purdue village. I met some people on the, they guided me through the route. Then I met Moe, without whom I should say my first few days would be very rough. She is from Bangladesh and also the RA of Purdue village. She was so sweet that she helped me in getting to Purdue village. I was trying to sleep on that day but some how I couldn't. So, the first day at Purdue finally came to an end.
